Insurance Simulation, in which participants manage a short-term mock insurance company over four annual cycles, overseeing business dimensions such as budget, balance sheets, financial statements, unwritten premium reserve, gross written premium, return on investment, financial ratios and more. The simulation ends with a presentation to a panel of “shareholders”, who must be persuaded to reinvest in the respective businesses.
Introduction to Insurance is an exciting, three-day interactive learning experience equipping you with an overview of our industry. It is ideal for newcomers and those employed in support roles.
The Commercial Lines Skills Programme will give you 31 credits on NQF level 4. The programme consist of a seven-day training programme, after which you will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence and write an exam.
The Personal Lines Skills Programme is for people who would like to obtain essential knowledge and skills in the Short Term Personal Lines field, while completing 30 credits on NQF level 4.

Performance-driven thinking acknowledges that every person in a team/stakeholder group is a leader, with a unique and valuable contribution to make to the team/group’s performance.
Performance Management for Managers and Supervisors is for managers who provide feedback to staff on their performance, and who want to play a positive role in employee development. This two-day, interactive, practical workshop will provide you with an understanding of how adults learn, so that you can contribute constructively towards people development and manage performance in your area of responsibility.
Managing Under-Performance is a one-day workshop that clarifies the difference between misconduct and poor performance, making poor performance easier to identify and therefore easier to manage. We have taken a practical and hands-on approach to create awareness of your legislative responsibilities in dealing with poor performance, and provide guidelines on how to apply the legal requirements in a responsible manner.
